Neuropsychology
- Worried about your memory?
- Mind not quite the same since the accident?
- Afraid you might have Alzheimer’s?
- Do you think you might have ADD or a learning disability?
- Have you been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (or another neurological condition) and do you wonder about the effect of the disease on your ability to think?
I can help. I was trained in neuropsychology by Dr. Ralph Reitan, arguably the most accomplished neuropsychologist in the world. I have post-doctoral training in neuropsychology and experience in assessment and rehabilitation.
If you are new to neuropsychology, it is a specialty that can give a functional analysis to the way your brain works.
You may know your memory is not as good as it was. A neuropsychologist can tell you exactly how much worse it is and if it’s a normal, age-related problem or an indication of a more severe problem.
You should consider a neuropsychological evaluation if
- you and others have noticed a decline in memory
- you’ve been in a significant car accident
- you have had significant head trauma
- you have a neurological diagnosis.
If you are concerned as an adult, that you may have attention deficit disorder and/or a learning disability, you should consider an evaluation.
